Honeymoon in Rome The Vatican

The third day in Rome revolved mostly around our trp to the vatican. After remembering the last trip that consisted of a 3 hour wait i line just to get in, we decided to try our luck with the paid tour as they say you can "skip the cue." This was marginally better time wise as we still waited 2 hours before entering but was also 50 dollars more in price. None the less the tour was spectacular! It shows the wealth of the Catholic church for sure!

Time for a well deserved late lunch with 1 liter mugs of cold brew and some pasta. Just so you know Johanna finished hers off!

We were provided with several suggestions for supper including a top notch mom and pop resturant on an island within the Tiber river. The place proudly displayed the rich and famous who regularly come there. Although we had no reservation, there was a small table availible that we happily took.

We ended the fine night with a Beer/Wine on the riverbank
