Poop proofing

We love having our beautiful birds around. They provide so much entertainment and some of them are pretty tame. BUT they are extremely messy and poop everywhere. I don't know how many times a week we have to mop the balcony, so we decided to poop proof their little corner where they feed and where most of their pooping occur. I spent the morning scrubbing the floor and cutting and taping garbage bags to the floor to protect is from their mess. The birds don't seem too bother by the change in colour and material to the floor. First one in to feed was our baby lorikeet Patrick (although he's probably an adolescent by now) and Krusty the Cockatoo. Krusty is a bit shy so he flew off when I tried to take a picture of him. I caught him in a nearby tree though waiting for his turn where he's still patiently biding his time.
