Melbourne

We didn't take a whole lot of pictures in Melbourne, most of them are from our day trip on the Great Ocean Road.  I did find a few though! The ones taken at night are not the best quality since my camera broke and we now use our iphones.

Pasta at Pellegrinis the coolest Italian Restaurant ever.  The place has looked the same for decades and it really felt like stepping in to a 50's joint.  Chefs with strong Italian accents - Bella, have a seat! and a very laid back friendly atmosphere.

A very special trip

You all know it by now, but I still wanted to share the good news on the blog.

On the beach by the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, Wyatt went down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said yes!

We're both really happy and exited about the future! Thank you so much for all the congratulations and well wishes we have received since we shared our news.

Thanks so much Emma and Øystein for the beautiful bouquet of flowers that arrived today all the way from Sweden! I look at them and smile.

A year older

So, I'm now officially thirty plus, but I don't feel a day over 25...

Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes.  I had a lovely day in the sun and then a nice dinner at night in the Marina.

Wyatt surprised me (well, he told me a couple of weeks ago) with a trip to Melbourne over Easter so we're off tomorrow for a big city break! Looking forward to seeing more of the beautiful city and we'll hopefully rent a car and drive a bit on the famous Great Ocean Road between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Bye Sweden, hello Australia!

I'm back in Oz and with my love after 7 great weeks back home.  It's always so good to see friends and family and to be back on Swedish soil!  A big thank you to all of you, despite busy lives you always make an effort to see me as much as possible.  It means everything to me.  It's terribly sad to say goodbye but I have great memories with me.

Back here I had forgotten how bright and colourful everything is.  Our garden is full of bloom despite it being autumn here(?!) and the weather is surprisingly hot. I caught a cold just in time for my departure, so has been a little bit under the weather the last few days.  The jet lag probably didn't help.  I'm better now though and are looking forward to the week ahead!
