Part 6: Lake Louise and the Tea House Hike

Some pictures from our hike in Lake Louise.  We did the same hike, to the two Tea Houses the last time I was in Canada and it's was just as beautiful as I remembered it!

At the start of the hike! Buddy is not cooperating...

No Bears this time either, that's probably a good thing:)

Some evidence of previous avalanches
A little bit of snow left in places

Our first stop at Agnes Tea House for a well deserved lunch

Part 5: Johnson's Canyon and the Ink Pots

Our first hike around Canmore was in Johnson's Canyon and the Inkpots.  Unfortunately Marg couldn't join us as she was sick with a the same stomach flu that both Wyatt and I had a week previous...  The weather wasn't the best,  but it was a beautiful hike and with great views and the rain stayed away until the very end.

Part 4: Canmore in The Rocky Mountains

Wyatt's aunt with family let us stay at their condo in Canmore for a weekend.  Such beautiful surroundings with the mountains and Canmore seem a little less commercialized than Banff, just 20 minutes away. Apart from seeing family and friends, I think the hikes we did in the Rockies were the highlight of the trip.  Here are some pictures from Canmore, and surroundings.  Pictures from the hikes coming soon!

A beautiful spot to relax and read
                          Downtown Canmore

Cards of course!

                         A little chipmunk

No bears spotted, but this majestic Elk was really impressive
