Our new home!

Finally!! After two and a half weeks of waiting and worrying and hoping, we finally got our dream apartment in the area we wanted! Our home for the next year is an open plan, modern (not too big...) one bedroom apartment on Honeysuckle Drive in Newcastle.  If you lean over when on the balcony, you actually have a little bit of a sea view as well!

We moved in this afternoon and have been busy unpacking, buying food and getting organised.  Luckily the apartment is furnished and pretty well equipped so we don't have to get much, just small bits and pieces.  We're planning a trip to IKEA this week to buy some Swedish christmas food (I can't have Christmas without sill and pepparkakor!) and will pick up whatever we need there.
